An introduction to hand-setting type and letterpress printing. You will learn the basics of composing type by hand for both small metal type and larger wood type. As well as how to use some of the brilliant old presses in the printshop.

Workshops are designed for people with little or no experience. We keep them small so you have lots of support to learn and produce your own designs.

Workshops run from 10am to 5pm. Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the Chocolate Factory space adjacent to the print room. Or the local market is a few minutes walk away and will be open with plenty to choose.
